Tuesday is the new Saturday

I indulged in non-educational activities today, largely because the school was closed due to electrical problems. This consisted of going into town and getting the vast majority of Christmas shopping out of the way, thereby freeing myself up to do lots of filing next week. Admittedly, I could have got the filing done today instead, but there were some vital considerations which led me to prioritise in the manner I did. Tomorrow there will be my final lesson of the term with my darling year 9s, when they will be doing more writing, this time of the fictional variety. Streetcar Named Desire for the year 10s will also be on the menu.
